Café Kontogiorgos opened its doors, in June 1969 by Evangelos Kontogiorgos, bringing a change of air so far, It has left an indelible mark on the region. Within the innovations include the preparation of first espresso outside Athens in the cafeteria, the first cappuccino the area where today is found in the same form in Nafplion, the advent of foreign chefs who radically changed the local pastry, and shaping the modern coffee model.
