Situated in the foothills of the castle, the Restaurant - Cafe Doukato is named after the Duchy of Naxos, which was established in 1207 AD by the Venetian Marco Sanudo. During the Turkish Ottoman rule, the place was used as a church and later as one of the three schools of Naxos.

Today, respecting the history of this place, Doukato offers delicious dishes and drinks that you must try! You can enjoy unique Greek dishes made by our chef Gerasimos Karagiannis, member of Hellenic Chef’s Association, and produced with the finest raw materials and authentic olive oil from Naxos.
